<div>Dear Ecuatorianistas group — Attached please find the hoja de vida of a talented Quiteña ABD academic, Ms. Laura González, who is looking for work as a research associate, translator, consultant, or anything commensurate with her training. I am (with her
permission) forwarding her c.v. to this group in the hope that one or more of you might know of someone looking for a scholar -practitioner with Laura’s training and expertise. Because Laura’s husband lost his business (a swim-centered program aimed at elementary
school age children) due to pandemic-related shutdowns, their young family is, like those of many Ecuadorians, struggling to survive. Laura was extremely reluctant to reach out to me, but knowing what a dedicated and hard working scholar she is, (who I first
met through her husband, a steadfast participant of the Yumbada of Cotocollao) I am confident that Laura would be an asset to any projects or initiatives where her skills, energy, linguistic virtuosity, and training would be just what is needed. Thank you
