Ha sido un honor poder contribuir con la sección durante estos dos años. En especial me ha entusiasmado ver el interés que ha despertado entre nuevas/os investigadores y jóvenes colegas que están iniciando su carrera académica. Hay un gran impulso a nuevas
investigaciones sobre Ecuador, y se destacan enfoques teóricos y metodológicos variados y novedosos. Creo que eso es siempre esperanzador en medio del momento crítico que está viviendo el país. </div>
